Seasonal Camping

Seasonal sites now offered at Bowman Lake and Oquaga Creek in the Central Region and Max V. Shaul in the Saratoga-Capital Region. Seasonal campers will need to make just one reservation for several weeks of camping. Imagine the convenience of leaving your trailer or RV on one site for the entire summer! Sites are discounted compared to the cost of a standard site. Reservations must be made directly with the parks.

During peak season some campsites are rented on a weekly basis. All sites at Hither Hills State Park and the beachfront sites at Southwick Beach State Park are subject to peak season rules. In general, Peak season runs from the fourth Friday in June to the last Sunday before Labor Day weekend. Reservations during this time are subject to a 7-day minimum stay for campsites. All other times are considered non-peak season and may require a 2 or 3-night stay.
